Dr. Claudio Rolandi holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan (1980). Over the course of his distinguished career, he has served in both technical and strategic roles across diverse sectors, including the Italian Navy, Philips-MDA, Parke-Davis, and Festo-CTE, where he worked as an industrial engineer and senior consultant.
Dr. Rolandi has played an active role in shaping European industry standards, having represented Italy in the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) within the Technical Committees for Maintenance and Management Consulting. He also served as President of the Italy Affiliate of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE).
In academia, Dr. Rolandi has contributed significantly through his teaching and leadership. He was a professor of "Design, Monitoring and Management of Industrial Facilities" and "Design and Management of Facilities for Pharmaceutical and Food Industries" at SUPSI-DTI (Switzerland), where he also led Advanced Studies Masters programs. In 1990, he founded ACADEMIA, an organization focused on professional and technical training.
Currently, Dr. Rolandi continues to serve as a consultant to several major international corporations. He actively contributes to the advancement of industry knowledge as a member of the IMA Advisory Board, the SPS Italia Scientific Committee, the Zhongguancun Think Tank Alliance, and the Critical Infrastructure Resilience Advisory Board supporting European research initiatives.
