Electrical Engineer with M.Sc. degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems from the University of Birmingham, U.K.
He has worked for Land Rover, UK during 1992-1994 as software developer, for Apco Control valves 1995-1996 as production manager, for Logismos 1996-1998 as software developer, and for Hellenic Fabrics 1998-2000 as logistics manager.
Since 2000, he is CEO of Atlantis Engineering SA. The main product of Atlantis Engineering is the development and implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), named AIMMS. AIMMS is currently running in 9 countries in many sectors (industries, municipalities, hotels, ports, universities, malls) and he has been actively involved on these implementations. During last 7 years he was involved on the development of a product for faults detection, identification, and prediction with the use of Artificial Intelligence, named Sibyl. Sibyl has several implementations, considering as most important the one in the Drachten factory of Philips, Netherlands. He has also participated in several Horizon Research Projects focusing on maintenance, quality, and circular economy, including the technical management of two Factories of the Future projects.
