Guido Walt is an internationally recognized maintenance specialist, industrial consultant, and advocate for workforce development in the field of maintenance and asset management. He is the Founder of Wear-Management Switzerland, established in 2001, and serves as a respected member of the global maintenance and reliability community through his active involvement in European maintenance initiatives and technical standardization efforts.

With more than two decades of international experience, Guido Walt has contributed extensively to maintenance engineering, industrial workforce competency development, maintenance strategy, and operational excellence. Through Wear-Management Switzerland, he has supported organizations in strengthening maintenance performance, technical capability development, reliability practices, and long-term asset sustainability across industrial sectors.

Guido Walt has also been actively involved with the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies (EFNMS), contributing to the advancement of maintenance professionalism, European cooperation, and technical competency frameworks for the maintenance industry.
