Founder of the TnPM System

Over 40 years of expertise in equipment management, deeply knowledgeable in global equipment management trends, and the pioneer in introducing the TPM system to China.

Authored over 40 books and more than 300 academic papers in equipment management.

His TnPM management system has been implemented by thousands of companies in China and worldwide. Since 2014, he has explored intelligent maintenance and smart manufacturing, developing the TnPM Intelligent Maintenance Model and the 3I Smart Manufacturing Framework, guiding Chinese manufacturers toward intelligent transformation.

Brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in TnPM implementation and equipment management projects for major domestic and international firms, enhancing on-site and equipment operations for hundreds of industrial enterprises.

1985–2005: Held roles including Dean of the School of Information and Electromechanical Engineering, Dean of South China Institute of Software Engineering, Director of Maintenance Engineering Technology, and Professor at Guangzhou University.

2005–2008: Served as a Decision-Making Consultant for the Guangzhou Municipal Government.

Recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council of China.
